“I entered the trip without having known Jody beforehand, but I was surprised at how quickly they were able to provide a trusted, safe environment for me to feel comfortable digging in to do my emotional work. They paid attention to the little details that were going on around them and were quickly able to connect with me and other participants. Jody made effort to get to know me prior to the trip with both a questionnaire and quick video chat. I felt safe sharing my intimate struggles and was able to receive coaching, love and support in return. I felt as if there were a safety net around/below me the entire trip - whether in a therapeutic session or out and about in the town. The retreat paid great detail to utilizing local vendors that treated their staff and animals with great respect and care. The food was amazingly fresh and plentiful. The balance of therapeutic opportunity with tourism opportunity was spot on. Whenever I felt I needed a break from one, the other was offered to balance it out. I had an amazing time and look forward to forming new connections in future retreats!”

“One of the most attractive parts of Epona Retreats is knowing some of Jody’s vision for what she’s creating. She wants participants to experience the steps to emotional safety that are talked about in the beginning of the experience, and then upheld, worked on, acknowledged and celebrated throughout the retreat.
