About Me
Hi, I’m Jody — a licensed psychotherapist and retreat leader with over two decades of experience helping people navigate pivotal life thresholds.
My work centers on creating emotionally safe, well-structured spaces where people can gain a deeper understanding about what’s shaping their life experiences.
I work with individuals who sense something needs to shift and want clarity about what’s next, and with couples who feel stuck and are looking for a more satisfying, connected way forward.
In addition to my private practice, where I provide both in-person and telehealth sessions, I have collaborated with Onsite Workshops in Nashville, Tennessee for the past 18 years. Several times a year, I serve as a therapist and facilitator in their intensive programs for individuals and couples, including Living Centered, Equine Therapy, Reconnecting Couples, Clinical Supervision, and extended Individual and Couples Intensives.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and shaped by close attention to how patterns of protection, attachment, and disconnection show up in real time — both within individuals and between partners — supporting deeper connection and more satisfying ways of being.
Alongside my licensing as a psychotherapist, I am certified and trained in EMDR, Experiential Therapy, Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, and Psychodrama.

In 2015, I created Epona Retreats: a space for soulful adventure and inner journey. Inspired by years of direct work with clients and my own path of holistic wellness, these immersive, destination retreats offer a chance to step away from daily demands and reconnect with yourself in a deeply supportive environment. Designed with experiences that foster healing, clarity, and authentic connection, these retreats help participants move toward purpose, more fulfilling relationships, and a renewed sense of joy. Here, the world itself becomes the setting for transformation, inviting you to step out of the therapy room and into spaces where safety, connection, and renewal are possible.
Retreat themes include:
-
Living in Passion and Purpose
-
Self-Care for the Care-Giver

When I’m not working, I’m settling back into Sag Harbor Village, NY spending time near the water, practicing yoga, and being with family and friends.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me. If you’re considering counseling, an intensive, or a retreat, you’re welcome to reach out. I’m happy to connect and talk more about whether working together would be a good fit.
