About Me
Hi, I’m Jody, a licensed therapist, retreat leader, and someone deeply committed to holding safe, nurturing spaces where people can find emotional healing, mental clarity, and a deep sense of connection—both within themselves and with others.
I completed my graduate work at Adelphi University in New York and have been in private practice since 2009, maintaining licenses in New York, Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
Additionally, for over 16 years, I’ve partnered with Onsite Workshops in Nashville, TN, facilitating transformative programs for individuals and couples including their Living Centered Program, Equine Therapy Programs, Reconnecting Couples, Clinical Supervision, and Individual and Couples' Intensives.
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, focusing on attachment wounds, relationship safety, and the path back to secure connection.
Alongside traditional therapy, I am certified and trained in EMDR, Experiential Therapy, Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, and Psychodrama, integrating these modalities to support each client’s unique journey.

In 2015, I created Epona Retreats: a space for soulful adventure and inner journey. Inspired by years of direct work with clients and my own path of holistic wellness, these immersive, destination retreats offer a chance to step away from daily demands and reconnect with yourself in a deeply supportive environment. Designed with experiences that foster healing, clarity, and authentic connection, these retreats help participants move toward purpose, more fulfilling relationships, and a renewed sense of joy. Here, the world itself becomes the setting for transformation, inviting you to step out of the therapy room and into spaces where safety, connection, and renewal are possible.
Retreat themes include:
-
Living in Passion and Purpose
-
Self-Care for the Care-Giver
-
Codependency and Finding the Inner Child
-
Couples Reignite Your Connection
-
Trust after Betrayal: The Path to Safety and Trust
-
Connecting with Spirit

When I’m not working, I love exploring my new hometown of Asheville, NC, hiking the nearby trails, practicing yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know a bit about me. If you feel called to explore therapy, an intensive, or a retreat, please feel welcome to reach out. I would love to connect and share more about how we might work together.
