This vintage Boujad rug, handwoven in the heart of Morocco's Middle Atlas mountains, captures the gentle, shifting hues of a desert sky.  Its palette blends soft pinks, lavenders, creams, and hints of gray into an abstract, painterly composition. 

True to Boujad artistry, this rug's design features a striking asymmetry:  the placement of motifs, colors, and shapes flows organically rather than mirroring across the surface.  The striped 'brick' motif at one end, combined with the free-form use of color blocks and spontaneous shapes, reflects the weaver's personal creativity and storytelling.
